Title: Nectarine Fool - Glorious Liqueurs

Yield: 4 Servings

NECTARINE SWIRL
4 Soft, ripe nectarines or
  Peaches
1tbLemon juice
1tbSugar, or to taste
1tbPeach schnapps
WHIPPED CREAM SWIRL
1cHeavy cream
1 1/2tbPowdered sugar
1tbAmaretto
1tbToasted sliced or slivered
  Almonds, for garnish

Nectarine swirl:

Peel and pit nectarines. Cut up and put in food processor with lemon juice, sugar and schnapps. Cover and process until smooth, adding more sugar if desired.

Pour in a bowl, cover and chill several hours until well chilled.

Whipped Cream Swirl:

At serving time, beat cream, sugar and amaretto until soft peaks form.

Assembly:

Partially fold whipped cream into nectarine puree to form attractive streaks. Carefully divide among 4 dessert dishes; sprinkle with almonds. Serve soon.
